Brute Force
Essay Film
Director: Felix Lenz

Brute Force [working title] explores the material, ecological and political implications of our technocratic urge to extract knowledge from our earth’s topographies.
In three chapters the film dissects the infrastructures necessary to capture, process and archive the resulting sets of data. Leaving behind increasingly brittle and corroding territories, these landscapes offer a novel starting point to re-conceptualise what the archives of and about this world might look like.
